The fishing was very good this weekend in the upper Laguna Madre near Corpus Christi. I was one of 50 fishing guides donating their time to fish the Copano Energy’s “Cast for the Cure” tournament. This is a “catch and release” event and everyone were true sportsmen. My fisherman did their job and we released the most trout of the tournament. Our top fish included a 27 1/2 ” trout and a 33 1/2 ” redfish. We had a great time and really enjoyed two great days on the bay. Come down and try bay fishing, you will never forget it.
